Development Of Location Information Services In Android Platform Base On Baidu Maps

With the rapid development of wireless communication technology, 3G and 4G technology matures, in order to seize the market and get more users resources, the major operators continues to expand its network coverage in urban and rural areas. Thousands of base stations and Transmission cable that connected to them constitute a Large wireless network is gradually covering every corner of China. All this allows data transmission over a wireless network, whether on the transmission speed or the transmission capacity has been greatly improved. It provides network bandwidth assurance for the transmission of information, and allows large amount of information mobile location services over the wireless network to be possible.At present, the development time of location information service domestic is short, some of the existing location information service systems are still not well in conjunction with the needs of users, which makes the country's location information service still tremendous opportunities. Participants of location information services industry, like Map makers, telecommunications operators, software developers, terminal manufacturers are actively involved in this field, attempting to further explore its commercial value, and, the majority of mobile phone end users want to have a better map service user experience.This paper analyzes the need of geographic location information service in user's daily life, combines the location information services with the android, aims at creating a better user experience for the mobile terminal customers, finally design a location information services in Android platform base on Baidu Maps. The system sets the login screen interface and other based interface, as well as six functional modules, they are self-positioning, target location query, geographic navigation, location query subsidiary, the subsidiary position feedback and historical inquiry records management, and it eventually implemented successfully on a mobile terminal on Android platform.
