Objective: To design and create a professional network platform of diagnosis and treatment for persistent vegetative state,with which we can get the present situation of the patients in persistent vegetative state.By collecting and classifing of patients' diseases information to form a database,with this database,we can get instant epidemiological data of persistent vegetative state,and also can get the most realistic and reliable data for the studies,clinical diagnose and treatments,the database also make the communication of medical institutions and professionals easier.With this database,we can update and disseminate the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of the PVS at home and abroad timely,to improve research ability.Provide online medical consultation,through this way,the doctor and the patients' family members can communicate and interact on the Internet immediately,and doctors can guide families to take care of the patients with scientific methods,to enhance the ability of caregivers to take care of patients.Methods : On From December 2014.to now on,we begin to study and design the clinical contents,network architecture and online professional services with the persistent vegetative state expert team of Neurology,of the Third People's Hospital,on the basis of preliminary research of PVS and resource a great number of domestic and foreign literature of PVS,under the guidance of the professional group of brain resuscitation of the Chinese Medical Association.At the same time,the professional team from big data research center,University of Electronic Science and technology of China offer the help in the software design and maintenance of the network platform.They repeated debugging after the completion of the integrated software development,and then the system test,include IU testing,performance testing,stability testing,function testing and data testing,was carried out at the big data research center.The test data came from the completed epidemiological survey information and statistical analysis results through traditional epidemiological methods to show that if the design of this platform is feasible or not.Type patients' disease information which come from the previous epidemiological survey of PVS in Ya'an,SiChuan from January 1,2000 to December 30,2012 into the network platform.Then platform completes the statistical and analysis of the data,and come out the result which we required.Because of this two statistical methods used the same original data,diagnosis and assessment standards,statistics analysis method,so we can compare the results directly.According to the compare result to test the if the integrate software can realize the transform of the information into accurate statistical analysis data or not.At last,by means of the Information Network Center telemedicine system of the Third People's Hospital,implementation of online medical services.Results: All these works has been completed in June 2015,such as the design of clinical contents,network architecture and online professional services of this network platform.The design and development of integrate software completed and had been repeated debugging before December 2015.The platform passed through the system testing(IU testing,performance testing,stability testing,function testing and data testing),the results of data testing from this platform are completely consistent with the results of artificial statistical processing(SPSS 16.0).The network platform has reached the requirements of launched.Conclusion: Now the network platform through the system test,has reached the requirements of launched.It is the first professional network platform for diagnosis and treatment of PVS in China.This platform have integrated the information collection,classified storage and exchange,furthermore,it will serve for medical staff to diagnostic and treat PVS patients,management and help PVS patients,and research of PVS directly.It can be expected that this platform will become the largest data and information database of PVS in the near future.It also will be the largest professional communication network platform and include the largest quantity of PVS patients' information in domestic.
