Research And Implementation Of The Corba Persistent State Service

With the development of technology of distributed objects and the requirement of large distributed applications, object persistence makes an important role in the development and running of applications. The matter that how to solve the problem of object persistence is worth researching in software design and software development.On the basement of the research in object persistence, the paper summarizes the solutions to the problem of persistence, and compares with each other deeply. And then Corba PSS is introduced. Firstly, the architeture of PSS is researched, and implementation theory and technology of file persistence and database persistence are discussed. Secondly, the paper introduces the language of PSDL and summarizes genenal programming model of Corba application through PSS, at the same time the paper puts forward a design and implementation of PSDL compiler, that is SEIJPSDL. The implementation of persistent state service SEI_PSS is basically finished. We present a PSS prototype based publish/subscribe architecture. The design & implementation of the system is discussed in detail in this paper. Finally, we summarize the research work of the paper, point out the disadvantages of the system and the future work.and give out some advice for further work.
