With the coming of the information era,almost everyone has a mobile phone or a pad. With the development of economics, it's hard to meet the need of information and news of users. So, different kinds of mobile news apps have come out. Mobile news apps have a high development and meet the needs of users.In the research, mobile news apps are as Media product to explore the concerns and preferences of the users. Then the needs and gratifications of the users will be found and mobile news apps will be more attractive and fantastic in the future.Based on “the demand study —the gratification study—the problem study—problem solving” for the logic thinking, the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods are adopted in the study. Because of the survey data of the users, Uses and Gratification in Communication and Maslow's hierarchy of needs in psychology has been used in the paper.There are five parts. The first chapter, the theory of users and gratification have been present. The second chapter, questionnaire has told the behavior of the mobile news Apps users, through which motivation and demands of the users have been found. The third chapter, the needs of users can be divided into four dimensions: cognitive needs,emotional needs,social and personal integrative needs and self-fulfillment needs. How the needs have been meet is analyzed in this part. The fourth chapter, according to how the users' needs have been meet, the problems when the users have used mobile news apps have arose. The fifth chapter, Suggestions of how to meet the need of users are put forward,in order to provide certain reference significance for the people who want to know more about the mobile news apps.
