With the rapid development of single frequency network, the terrestrial digital television system based on RF synchronization has received wide attentions in recent years.In the RF synchronizer of each base station, the received RF signal is transformed into digital signal and then stored in a delay memory(aim to synchronize the RF signal), which efficiently solves the same-frequency interference problem in the overlapped coverage area of the single frequency network coverage system.In order to monitor and administrate the RF synchronizers in all the bases, this thesis designed a RF synchronizer parameter configuration and monitor module. In the system designed in this thesis, the systematical parameter information, which is sent out from the FPGAs in RF synchronizers by serial interface, is showed on a Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)drove by ARM; and then a keying module is used to revise the systematical parameters; at last the revised systematical parameters are sent to the center station,the effeciency was improved as the parameters of RF synchronizer was monitored at the center station.The hardware and software design of the parameter configuration and parameter monitor module was detailed described in this thesis. In the aspect of hardware, the circuits for serial communication module, for LCD displaying module, for LCD keying module and for GPRS communication module were designed. In the aspect of software, this thesis emphasized the PPP protocol for GPRS and the IP protocol for remote data transmission.Based on the two communication protocols, the GPRS connection and the RF synchronizer parameter transmission can be achieved.The human-machine interaction and remote control system for RF synchronizers can efficiently monitor the parameters of RF synchronizers at every base station. This system can efficiently obtain the parameter of RF synchronizer by the customer-friendly human-machine transaction working interface;And the parameter and the operation mode of RF synchronizer at the far-end base station can be easily adjusted by the keying and remote monitor and control module.It is found from the experiment that the designed module in this thesis can accurately configure the parameters of RF synchronizer and then immediately send this information to the control center, which realize the real-time monitor of the RF synchronizer. Thus, the RFsynchronizer parameter configuration and monitor module can realize the real-time monitor and lower the human resource expense at the same time. In conclusion, this module will have a wide applicative prospect in the following broadcast television coverage system.
