Currently,data center is developing at an astonishing pace.Enterprise applications require more computing power, and web services is becoming the core of the enterprise customer-oriented strategies.Moreover,the data, including e-mail, documents and multimedia, is increasing very fast. In addition, the regulations require the data saved for a long time. It becomes increasingly complex and expensive to run a data center because of this factors.At the same time, the data centers typically is working on two separate networks:one is an Ethernet network (LAN), for client-to-server and server-to-server communications; the other is a storage area networks (SAN) based on fiber-optic channel, for communication between servers and storage devices. LAN and SAN play an important role in the data center, but there are essentially differences between their design and function.they have their own security mechanisms, communication mode and a separate management tools.So each network must be maintained in accordance with its own dedicated method and independent infrastructure construction.In addition to a separate cable, the server needs to install a separate network card for the two networks.In order to manage these both separate networks,the data center is increasing the complexity and cost for daily running.So companies are looking for new ways to integrate these both networks, which can make the data centers run more efficiently and cost-effective and protect the investment of FC infrastructureon. And FCoE emerged. FCoE allows the transmission in a communication cable on the LAN and FC SAN data.Converged network can support LAN and SAN data types and reduce data center equipment and the number of cables while reducing power and cooling load.After both convergence into a unified network,the need to support the point is also reduced, to help reduce the administrative burden. In the FCoE network the FCoE switches (FCF) undoubtedly plays a vital role,between which the calculation and generation of route directly affect the transmission of data.This paper shows the program of calculation and update of route between the switches based on established virtual connection which has a high practical value. This paper begins with a brief introduction of the conditions to establish a virtual connection between FCoE switches,and then clear the function point and process analysis,followed by the data exchange between switches to create a dynamic routing table.This paper also introduces the neighbor finite state machine and highlights the realization of FSPF routing table.Finally a brief introduction of the test ideas for FSPF program is given.
