The local high temperature of tool cutting zone will lead to strong time-varying tool deformation, wear and vibration in the difficult machining parts cutting process. Before processing, these problems cannot be accurately predicted and compensated. Therefore, the tool cutting states need to be real-time monitoring. According to the problem of information transmission in milling process, this thesis presents a smart tool wireless transmission system based on RFID. The system can complete simultaneous transmission of data and energy and realize the function of tool intelligent identification and management. It solves the problems existing in the current system, such as simple function, complex process and the need for power. The main researches are as follows:Because of the tool rotation, there is a problem of monitoring data cannot be transmitted through cable in milling process. This thesis proposes a smart tool wireless transmission system based on RFID. The system solution is designed and the technical difficulties of the system are analyzed. The system solves the transmission problem of energy and data in the milling process.The tool metal environment will seriously affect the performance of RFID transmission channel. So this thesis analyzes the performance of the wireless transmission channel by establishing circuit and magnetic circuit model. The optimization design of transmission channel is completed and the transmission performance of the system is ensured.In the absence of mature solutions of energy and data transmission, this thesis analyzes the energy and data transmission technology. The wireless charging, data transmission and tool identification and management solutions are proposed. It provides the basis for the detailed design of system function module.This thesis completes the design of system hardware and software and built experiment platform of smart tool. The function of data and energy transmission is verified. Achieve the function of intelligent identification and management by compatibility with existing tool management system. Wherein the system data transfer rate is up to 2.22 kbps, the maximum power of the secondary pickup is up to 2.715 W, energy transfer efficiency is up to 50.28%.The result not only successfully applied to the development of smart tools, also provides an important reference for the other needs of wireless energy and data transmission design.
