| With the rapid development of communication network,the PTN packet transport network has gradually become a new generation of network transmission technology, which can provide end to end transmission channel,and can carry a variety of business data. The core function of PTN is its strong OAM(Operation Administration and Maintenance) ability.It focuses on the fault management function, including the fast fault detection mechanism,and the accurate fault localization.Fault management in OAM can improve the reliability and quality of service management.This thesis puts forward a OAM plan which is extended by BFD(the Bidirectional Forwarding Detection),through the BFD extension of the original OAM fault management function,the author designed the new fault management scheme,it has optimized the original OAM fault management functions including fault Detection and fault localization.Based on this solution, the author realizes the extended functionality in the PTN network management system.Its main work includes:Firstly,this thesis introduces the PTN OAM research background and development course, puts forward two kinds of schemes,summarized the characteristics of the OAM scheme based on BFD.Secondly,this thesis proposes the PTN OAM layered model,designed and analyzed the hierarchical OAM software based on BFD in PTN network management system.It also designed and analyzed the BFD extension of the OAM fault management function,which includes fault Detection and fault localization.Thirdly,from the perspective of layered software architecture,this thesis has realized the software configuration module in the OAM management based on BFD.Including client layer, middle layer and the SBI layer. At the same time realized the basic function and synchronization function. In the end it displayes the results to the user with graphical UI.Finally,this thesis has realized the function of fault detection and fault localization,from the BFD extension of PTN OAM fault management.Fault detection extends BFD control packet to the original OAM connectivity testing packet,providing more rapid and light load fault detection;Fault location used the combination of LspPing and Traceroute to complete the corresponding fault location function, it can carry on the accurate path tracking to the different business and fault location. |
