Level gauging detecting technique plays a very important role in industry production. However, existing and common detecting techniques have high wrong signal and big maintain workload. Particularly, commonly used ?ray level gage now has big impact on human health and is also very difficult to remain, the consequence is out of control once lost or damaged. Therefore, researching a practical, safe, reliable, install and maintain convenient level detection technique is of great significance to full automation control of feeding system.Tippler is a large-scale, high-efficiency and automatic whole set of unload equipment; the most important step of bulk cargo delivery system; and key equipment of coal unloading. It's safe operation effects an enterprise's economic benefit. Level gauging to bottom layer's feeding chute is very important. but complicated and wicked working conditions cause much inconvenience to level gauging. Once detection delay or wrong signal feedback, over hopper or empty shock will happen, which seriously impact equipment or personnel safety and operating efficiency of an enterprise.By on site experimental verification and analyze as well as multiple on-site level detection, this issue established dynamic stress monitoring system to tippler chute material level based on distributed FBG. This system can pinpoint stress focal point and max stress point, can provide accurate positional information to staff and monitor chute level variation actual time on-line, and find out problems like over hopper and empty shock on time to prevent material from evacuation or overflow and to ensure each chute's material coordinate supply, to promote system's entirely unload efficiency and effectively save energy in quantity, which is good for scientific management and dispatch of productive process, guarantee equipment's safe and efficient operation. Implementation of this issue will change mode of traditional material level detection. For the first time, it will realize continuous detection with FBG material level on site to large port machinery in port, meet port enterprise's safety management requirements to key large scale of logistic network era, ultimately realize full automated coordinate feeding to tippler system.Main tasks of this issue:(1) Researched and analyzed level gauging technology of tippler chute and analyzed current situation of FBG sensor technology.(2) Researched and analyzed affection of flow coal to tippler chute's unload process. By theoretical analysis and research to coals' side friction, made detailed finite element analysis to tippler chute and provided theoretical basis for distribution and optimization of material level.(3) analyzed FGB strain and temperature sensing model, made finite element analysis and experimental analysis to elastomer. The result showed that the sensor can meet actual engineering measurement with its good consistency and repeatability.(4) Researched and analyzed theoretical method to material level gauging of FGB, researched sensor's installation and level gauging detecting technique system.(5) Made on site operational testing to tippler chute's level gauging system and realized relatively system function. Experimental result showed that level gauging technology based on FGB can make long-term continuous real-time monitoring to tippler chute's material level.
