The Development And Application Of Product-wide Process Management System In Comercial Banks

Product management is the whole process consist of product design, developing,promotion, maintenance, rating and improvement, it based on the changes in the market and customer demand. The ultimate goal is to promote the sales of profitable financial products that meets the customers' needs, thus better consolidate existing customer relationships and establish new customer groups to maximize profits.Product-wide process management system based on data mining uses data mining technology to analyze, mining and accurately classify the customer's demands for the products in commercial bank, thus rapidly develop the products to seize market opportunities. How to efficiently using data mining technology is the key point of realizing product-wide process management for commercial bank, and we focus on the data mining application to classification of product demands.We study the data mining application to classifying product demands, considering both theoretical research and case study. Firstly, we survey overseas and domestic research status to form the theoretical basis. Secondly, we analyze the status of products development and promotion in commercial bank to find the existing problems, and analyze why the problems exist. Thirdly, we classify the existing products into several product lines, and decompose each product into standard functional components. Then, the products based on the new demands are rapidly developed by using data mining, and a detailed design report is proposed including the conceptual design and the standards.Finally,by developing programs and standards in accordance with the systematic detailed design,the whole process management system of bank produce is realized.System components, including product summary, product management, product design,post-evaluation of product and statement analysis, are demonstrated on the system interface. The testing results show that the system meet the customer's needs.In conclusion, in this paper, by analyzing the demands of product management in the domestic banking sector, a product-wide process management system based on data mining is designed and realized according to theoretical basis of product management.
