In this paper, the analysis is based on the background of new-media wave prevailing to people, which leads to a bunch of fresh social and interactive platforms getting used frequently including Sina Weibo. From the entrance of users and gratifications theory to review the functions of Weibo and the motivations of individual's performance, and discuss interpersonal alienation under the frame of interpersonal research. Combined with methodology of positivism, observe the characteristics, habits and emotions of postgraduate in Shanghai, and to track the relativity and consequences among those factors, therefore to test presumptions. In a nutshell, hope there will be a more rational learning about the new generation's interpersonal communication and relations of highly educational group, so that the social platform could be used more reasonably, benefiting an increase of people.
