In 2001,China began a new round of basic education curriculum reform.With the further development of the new round of curriculum reform,the learning case has been welcomed by the school because it is conducive to highlighting students’ initiative.The teaching of the case does have a certain significance in shaping the student’s independent personality and cultivating students’ ability to study independently.However,there are some practical problems in the teaching of the case.Among them,the more outstanding problem is the substitute textbook of the learning case.The compilation of textbook is based on curriculum standards and compiled by the joint efforts of many scholars and experts.It is an important teaching resource for teachers and students in the teaching process.The attempt to learn the case is a change in the relationship between learning and teaching.We cannot deny such attempts because the academic case has encountered various problems in the actual teaching practice.So,what is the relationship between the learning case and the textbook? In the specific teaching practice,what kind of predicament is faced between the writing and use of the learning case and the textbook? How should we deal with the relationship between the learning case and the textbook?This topic analyzes the relationship between the learning case and the textbook through literature data.The first is the relationship between the preparation of the learning case and the history textbooks of senior high schools: the preparation of learning cases is mainly based on the content of the teaching materials;the materials used in the preparation of learning cases are based on materials in the textbooks.The second is the relationship between the use of learning case and the textbook: The learning case is an important aiding tool for the textbook,mainly based on the textbook and supplemented by the learning case.Through investigations and interviews with some teachers and students from Taizhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province and Longgang Middle School in Yancheng City,combined with the author’s own teaching experience,the actual dilemmas faced by the case and textbooks are analyzed: First,the case preparation and teaching materials.The teaching materials were compiled in the case-study,and the case study became a duplicate of the teaching materials.The improper selection of materials for academic writing caused a waste of teaching material resources.The second is the use of learning materials and teaching materials.Alternative textbooks.The author combined his own teaching experience,from the writing of the learning case and teaching materials and the use of the case and the use of teaching materials proposed strategies.The first one is about the preparation of learning cases and textbooks.First of all,the preparation of the learning case and teaching materials: school supervision to standardize the academic writing,institutionalization;teacher research to make the preparation of academic writing to a high level,high quality;academic writing type of diversification,level.Second,the preparation of teaching materials and case studies: learning from the design concept of learning,change teaching materials for learning materials.Second,about the use of academic cases and teaching materials.Pre-classroom—the use of pre-study cases and teaching materials;the use of learning cases and teaching materials during class—after class—consolidating the use of cases and textbooks. |
