The new high school curriculum reform has been implemented over the past decade. The reform not only made a lot of initial results but also exposed some problems. As the course curriculum objectives and specific forms, materials become the main basis for students to gain knowledge and the main sources of teaching.The use of textbooks and the edit of textbook have always been highly valued by the people. Domestic researchers have done a lot about the teaching comparative study of the new curriculum reform.The edit written order of textbook reflects the views of the editors of the knowledge system. The writers of different versions of the textbook have different practical experiences and different materials concept. The purpose of this paper is to help textbook users more clear understanding the difference between the different versions of the textbook knowledge choreography order. This paper is based on the teachers’practical experience and academic knowledge and introduction Interpretive Structural Model to apply to mathematics textbooks. It takes the version of People’s education press mathematical textbook and the version of Jiangsu education press mathematical textbook as an example to explore a relatively new method of teaching.By using Interpretive Structural Model to get those two textbooks’hierarchy digraph of the knowledge factors based on analysis, this paper specifically comparing each chapter of the two textbooks. It compared on four aspects like the choice of core elements, the formation of the relationship between the elements of the initial arrangement, the choice of highest goals, and the relationship between the formations of the elements. By analysis we can found that these two textbooks have substantially the same knowledge structure. The highest goal of each chapter are located in the practical application of mathematical knowledge to develop students’awareness of the application of mathematics. There are specific differences in the choice of core elements as well as the relationship among elements. this thesis analysis the advantages and disadvantages about the two versions of mathematics textbooks. Depending on the results,this thesis provide some advice and some suggestions for new arrangement of mathematics textbooks and mathematics teaching for teachers. In order to promote the realization of curriculum concepts and course objectives, to achieve efficient use of textbooks, we need to help teachers and students to arrange the structural systems of textbooks. ISM method can present teachers’experience in diagrams. By using the analysis results, this thesis provides improvement plans for the design of lesson as well as the strategy for students’self-learning plans. To provide reference for teachers’teaching and students’self-leaning. Finally, the paper summarizes the deficiencies and reflections on the Application value of ISM on comparative study of teaching research and conducted outlooks about extension study of ISM method.
