For a long time,the cultivation of high school students in our country has been affected by the college entrance examination system.The training and development of talents have embarked on the road to improving the examination-oriented ability.Ignoring students' interest in learning,limiting and weakening students' original creativity,such education can no longer meet the needs of talents for future development.The application of inquiry teaching is more suitable for the development of current high school physics teaching.Therefore,this paper studied the application of inquiry teaching in high school physics teaching through the following sections.The first part put forward the problems to be studied in this paper,expounded the background and significance of the current inquiry teaching application,studied the process at home and abroad,and focused on the analysis of the status quo of the research on inquiry teaching by domestic academic journals.In the second part,the author abstracted the theoretical evidence of inquiry teaching and summarized the theoretical basis of inquiry teaching through reading related books.In the third part,a quantitative study was conducted on teachers' questionnaire surveys to understand the current situation of inquiry teaching applications.The analysis concludes that current physics teachers' knowledge of inquiry teaching and whether actual teaching behavior can occur.In the fourth part,based on the content analysis of the relevant literature and the analysis results of the questionnaire survey,the author discussed the countermeasures of inquiry teaching in senior high school physics teaching from aspects of inquiry teaching design,teaching process and teacher's guidance.In the fifth part,the author drew the essence from the actual record of the inquiry teaching class.According to the classification of inquiry-based teaching,problem-based inquiry and experimental inquiry teaching are taken as examples for inquiry-based instructional design to supply the similar research reference.Through the teaching practice,it is found that the application of inquiry teaching in high school physics teaching is feasible and has great potential for development.And the application of inquiry teaching in physics can effectively improve the shortcomings of the traditional teaching methods,and realize the students as the center and the teacher as the guidance to simulate the process and methods of scientific inquiry,and construct knowledge by exploring unknown ways.Increasing students' interest in learning physics knowledge,stimulating students' creativity,and enabling students to understand and apply knowledge from its essence so as to meet the needs of talents in the future society.The significance of this study lies in further enriching the theory of inquiry teaching.It is hoped that this study can provide reference for the future practice of high school physics inquiry teaching.
