Guided learning case is a teaching material which we call "collective and unconscious teaching reformation experiment". It rose in China at the end of the 20 th century. Now it has been accepted by most teachers and become widely used for class teaching material. To a certain extent, the use of the guided learning case has cultivated the students' self-learning habits and learning ability, what' s more, it has greatly enhanced the efficiency of teaching. Inquiry teaching is a teaching mode based on students and also the focus of the current classroom teaching reform. It is expected to improve students' cognitive scope and ability through the exploration of scientific problems. As a matter of fact, Inquiry teaching has to face a lot of criticism, such as low efficiency of teaching and small classroom capacity. As a result, many related people question about it. Based on their own characteristics of Guided learning case and Inquiry teaching, we propose to apply the Guided learning case to Inquiry teaching and explore in educational practice. It proves to be a right concept requires to the new curriculum reform, and also it helps to improve teaching quality.This paper is the study of "The Guided Learning Case Used in Physics Inquiry Teaching", combined with the teaching practice, involving colligated documentary method, action research method, interview method and questionnaire method and so on. It is expected to provide certain reference for teachers to improve the quality of Inquiry Teaching and cultivate the scientific literacy of students. This study consists of the following six parts:Part 1: Introduction. Firstly, this part has analyzed the situation of implementation of Inquiry Teaching, the background and the researching status of Guided learning Case, Furthermore, it has evaluated the necessity and feasibility of "The Guided Learning Case Used in Physics Inquiry Teaching", combining the requirement of the Curriculum reformation with the related education theory, and come to a conclusion that it's possible to combine Guided learning Case with Inquiry teaching. Both of the leading advantage of Guided Learning Case and the openness of inquiry teaching can be considered to promote effective implementation of inquiry teaching. The last but not the least, we promote the researching purpose and the creative conception of this topic: compiling principles of inquiry of Guided learning case, explaining the details of inquiry teaching on the basis of classifying of physics inquiry teaching, exploring learning and effective integration of exploratory teaching, writing relevant teaching cases, exploring the combination of education theory and teaching practice in practice from two aspects of theory and practice.Part 2: The theoretical basis of this research is teased out. Expounding the rationality of Guided learning case and inquiry teaching on the basis of constructive learning theory, humanistic learning theory, zone of proximal development theory, try teaching theory and multiple intelligence theory, it will be the theoretical support of "the Research on The Guided Learning Case used in Physics Inquiry Teaching".Part 3: This part defines the concept of Inquiry Guided learning case in high school physics, and points out its characteristic. It also makes a further analysis of the traditional Guided learning case in many ways. Based on classify of Inquiry teaching, it promotes the concept of Inquiry guided learning case, making a difference between Inquiry Guided learning case and traditional Guided learning case.Part 4: This part specifically analyses the formation of Inquiry Guided learning case of middle school physics. Inquiry guided learning case is an effective carrier to promote the effect of Inquiry teaching. Therefore, this part gives writing principles and contents of the Inquiry guided learning case, as well as details the compiling of every part, combined with the section "Work" in middle school physics.Part 5: Carry out the practical research of middle school physics teaching combined with the Guided learning case. This part concludes the implementation condition from practical teaching process, giving out the actual case and reflection of Guided learning case in middle school physics from the teaching example of "Scientific inquiry: Friction".Part 6: Research results, analysis and prospect. During half of a year of teaching practice, we used the method of questionnaire survey and interview to analyze the qualitative and quantitative results. It shows that Inquiry learning case used in middle school physics, the inquiry teaching, is really helpful to the improvement of inquiry teaching quality and also enhances students' learning ability. At the end of this paper, it points out the reflection and prospect of this research.
