Shangdang Laozi is one of the traditional local operas prevailing in the southeast of Shanxi.Its original name is "Licheng Laozi",and the local people also call it "Laozi".The local opera Shangdang Laozi is a branch of Wuan Laozi in Hebei Province,which was introduced into Licheng County during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty.With its continuous dissemination and development,it was later combined with local customs and the linguistic characteristics of Southeastern Shanxi,etc.As a small type of drama in Southeast of Shanxi,Shangdang Laozi,with a long history and a deep mass foundation,is a unique and charming star in Shanxi's local opera.Influenced by various of causes,except for the inheritance in Lucheng and Licheng in the southeast of Shanxi,it has not been widely spread in other areas.Besides,coupled with the indifference and remoteness of contemporary young people to the art of opera,the future of Shangdang Laozi Opera is very uncertain.In June 2008,with the permission of the State Council,Shangdang Laozi was also included in the second batch of state-level intangible cultural heritage lists,further enhancing its artistic value and laying the foundation for the local opera Shangdanglaozi to enter the middle school.Therefore,aiming to the goal of protecting and inheriting the local opera culture,the article surveys the present situation of the development of Shangdang Laozi's to understand the value of ShangDanglaozi.In order to better introduce the music classes to middle schools,the author first investigated the music situation in a representative junior high school in Lucheng,analyzed the results of its field investigation,summarized the problems of the investigation process and put forward effective application countermeasures.Through the investigation of the current situation of music in Lucheng,the article eastblished a solid foundation for a better introduction of Shangdanglaozi into the middle school.The introduction of this paper mainly describes the reasons for choosing this topic,the purpose of choosing this topic and the significance of this subject and the research methods applied to this topic.This paper briefly introduces the current research situation of thissubject and the research status of music education in schools in China.The first chapter briefly discusses the origin and development process of Shangdang Laozi.The second chapter discusses the feasibility of Shangdanglaozi introduced to music class,mainly describing the typical cases and objective basis of local music.Chapter three mainly analyzes the present educational situation in music classroom of the junior middle school in Lucheng area.The methods mainly include the degree of love for music lessons,the degree of understanding and preference of Shangdang Laozi.To solve the problems,the fourth chapter puts forward the effective measures from the school and the social level and concludes the influence of the introduction of Shangdonglaozi into the music classroom.The last part summarizes the research results of this topic to provide some theoretical support for the later scholars.The idea is still in a preliminary exploration stage,so the content is only the part of the theoretical analysis in practice.The author hopes that this topict will enable Shangdang Laozi to get a better inheritance and development,and lay a theoretical foundation for the future development of it.
