In 2001,China carried out a comprehensive reform of the educational curriculum system,emphasizing the concept of taking interests and hobbies as the driving force and aesthetics as the core.In the reform,pop music has been included in the middle school music textbook,and pop music has become a "new member" in the new textbook.With the implementation of this measure,the status of pop music has undergone earth-shaking changes.Pop music has become an inseparable part of the new textbook,which is a turning point of great historical significance for pop music.It can be seen from here that the field of music education has changed its attitude and view towards pop music and began to change from closed to open.With the development of the era of science and technology,people can come into contact with pop music through a variety of media.Pop music,as a new cultural industry and cultural phenomenon,plays an important role and plays a vital role in music culture and social culture.Pop music is deeply loved by people with easy-to-understand lyrics,catchy melodies,beautiful and lively tunes,simple and varied rhythm,wide audience and strong dissemination,which enriches people's spiritual life.make life more colorful.Pop music brings happiness and happiness to the broad masses,at the same time,some lyrics contain vulgar,unhealthy and unfashionable pop music in the market,affecting people's lives.And junior high school students as the main force in the development of Chinese pop music culture and education,pop music has a sense of rhythm,rhythm and other music characteristics are very consistent with the development of physical and mental health of junior high school students,junior high school students in the middle school stage.They need more pop music to achieve emotional catharsis,ease the pressure of learning and other purposes,pop music to a certain extent to meet the spiritual needs of junior high school students in middle school.Excellent pop music can bring rich music emotional experience to junior high school students,while vulgar pop music will affect the physical and mental health of junior high school students.When they are in adolescence,they should improve their ability to distinguish pop music.At the same time,music teachers must actively implement the policies in the New Music Curriculum Standards.Music education takes aesthetics as the core and music aesthetics as the focus.For teachers themselves,they need to constantly improve their music appreciation ability and music aesthetic ability.Therefore,in view of the questionnaire and practice of pop music in junior high school music teaching,the author will sort out and summarize the relevant literature and books in the early stage,combined with the investigation and exploration in the middle and later stage of the school.according to the reflection of teachers and students and two actual cases,the corresponding feasible suggestions and countermeasures are given.
