Morality,a special kind of social consciousness,is the social norms and criteria for people's behavior in a society.Moral development has its general rules,and the moral consciousness of junior middle school student is the highest goal of moral development.Moral consciousness is based on the principles of people's subjectivity,follows the student-oriented moral development,and internalizes the social norms and codes into the moral cognition and moral consciousness for students,which leads to the self-conscious moral behaviors.This kind of recognition,consciousness and behavior arises naturally in the moral practices,which is reshaped to meet the rational social norms and ethical principles after its practice,subsequently the awareness and emotion of students coincides with the reality.The self-consciousness of moral awareness and moral behavior is the internal and external unification of moral awareness for students,and the self-discipline,self-evaluation and self-improvement of students who are the subject of moral self-consciousness is the consciousness for them in social moral practices.The production and development of moral self-consciousness for junior middle school students conforms to the basic law of moral development based on the influential external factors and the dominant internal factors.The moral development of individual starts from “heteronomy” level,“self-discipline” level,and last “free” level in which it comes into being and is fulfilled.The production and development of moral self-consciousness mainly takes place within the intrinsic psychological factors,and the students get access to the moral consciousness affected by both the internal and external factors.Moral self-consciousness is cultivated in a school,and its production and development is involved with the society,school,family and students themselves.The contents and ways of moral education need to be improved,and the students should be encouraged to have moral practices to facilitate their moral self-consciousness.The paper employs the conditions of moral self-consciousness for junior middle schoolstudents,investigates into the mandatory and cramming moral education,compares the contents and ways of moral education to figure out the effective plans for advance of moral self-consciousness,constructs the framework of moral self-consciousness,and solves the concern of personal morals and public morals.The introduction in the paper elaborates the background and significance of the study,the related studies home and abroad,and the contents and ways of the study.The second part introduces the basic meaning of moral self-consciousness.This part focuses on the definition,subject,and levels of moral self-consciousness as well as the internal psychological factors for the production and development of moral self-consciousness.The self-discipline,self-evaluation and self-improvement of subjects is the basic law of moral self-consciousness,and there are three levels for the moral development with each student,“heteronomy”,“self-discipline”,and “free”level.The production and development of moral self-consciousness is closely related to ages,however the levels of moral development for each student do not correspond with their ages.The production and development of moral self-consciousness is confined and affected by both the internal and external elements,for which the former one dominates.The third part analyzes the predicament and its reason for the moral improvement with junior school students.The predicament mainly arises from the diversity of social moral values,dogmatization of moral education in school,abnormity of ethics with families,and simplification of morality with students.The reasons appear to be lack of moral practices,moral thinking training,and the adverse development resulting from the oppressive moral cultivation.The fourth part probes into the strategies for the improvement of moral self-consciousness with the junior middle school students.It's likely that there are many ways for the improvement of moral self-consciousness,like playing the role of subject,shifting from lectures to guidance,carrying out the practices,and having seminars about the moral education with the junior middle school students.Meanwhile,the ethical thinking of faculties is expected to be promoted to push the construction of value system and demonstrate the self-conscious culture of campus.In conclusion the strategies and implementation ofpromoting the moral self-consciousness are presented to reshape the students' moral recognition,change their moral behaviors,and fulfill their moral transcendence.The study presents the moral value corresponding with the society for students,and the consistency between personal and public morals,with which the moral self-consciousness is the assimilated internalization.The current mandatory pattern of moral education is available to be improved,and the self-conscious morality system for students is possible to be constructed.The moral recognition and behavior of each student is the conscious recognition and behavior,which accords with the public morality,resulting in tackling the paradox between students' moral behaviors and social morality.
