Life Story Method Of The Elderly Social Casework Intervention In The Town' Nursing Home

This research,based on absorbing and learning from previous studies to memorize events,life review and narrative therapy as a single method approach to the intervention of elderly cases,puts forward the “life story” as the carrier and form of intervention.The author explores and tries to use life stories as a more integrated and flexible intervention method to select a person who experiences a great setback or an unfortunate event and has a low sense of meaning and value for his self-life evaluation.I am not very satisfied with living in nursing homes in my old age.Elderly people with a certain degree of depressed mood are involved in case work.It has played a certain degree of exploration or demonstration for the application of this method to elderly people in old-age care institutions such as the hometown of the township.In the preparatory stage of individual interventions,the author first helped the elderly to sort out their major life events,and to understand the old people's basic views on these experiences.Then,according to the four stages of minor,early adult,middle age,and old age,the historical events or policies corresponding to each stage of the case that may have a major impact on the owner are sorted out,and based on this,it may be used to draw up interviews.Guiding Outline.In the key intervention phase,through the review of the bad feelings and feelings of the past with the elderly,we focused on the negative events that make the elderly produce negative emotions and self-evaluation.Through excavating more positive events and details in the elderly's life story,help the elderly to get rid of their own negative labels and evaluations,enhance self-esteem and self-confidence,and establish a relatively active life style in their later years.The last part is the main conclusions,reflections and limitations of this study,as well as the prospects and suggestions for the future social work for middle-aged and elderly people in nursing homes.Through this study,the author finds that life story techniques can improve the elderly's depression and mental health,help the elderly to reshape their more positive self-life significance evaluation,and form a more active,autonomous and optimistic attitude in life in the later years of life.
