Shao Yang Tantou woodblock New-Year Pictures Art is an important part of the fine traditional Chinese culture.It has more than 300 years of history and in 2006 was included in China’s first batch of intangible culture heritage.It contains rich artistic value and folk custom connotation,and clearly depicts the spiritual yearning of the people in the farming age,and the good emotion and wishes of the people in the long historical period to the social life.Since the beginning of 21 st century,with the impact of modern civilization,Shao Yang Tantou New-Year Pictures Art starts facing the “No successor” survival crisis.In response to this crisis,according to China’s Ministry of education clearly put forward to join the folk art contents in the textbook.The issue is carried out as "curriculum development and course design-teaching experience-conclusion" by studying literature,investigating and interviewing,teaching practice and concluding.To explore it’s principle,mode and strategy,processes and methods that Tantou woodblock New-Year Pictures Art is integrated into the school-based curriculum development in primary school.Having designed and carried out some teaching case.It has some main principles that Tantou woodblock New-Year Pictures Art is integrated into the primary school of art school-based curriculum development.They are adaptability principle,autonomy principle,content and structure principle,diversification principle.The main modes of development contain innovation mode and cooperation mode.The main development strategies include building research and teaching platform,integrating multidisciplinary curriculum teaching,carrying out outdoor learning activities,constructing teaching resources so on.The processes and methods of development are based on the Skilbeck’s Theory and our national development process of school-based Curriculum Development Committee.The design of the development processes and methods is carried out by combining withpresent situation of primary school art teaching in China.Three teaching cases are designed and executed.They are " The characteristic of Tantou New-Year Paintings" and "Appreciating the beauty of New-Year Paintings" and "My New-Year Paintings this year".After doing that,it draws a conclusion that:the development and application of New-Year Paintings Art in the primary school art school-based curriculum,helps students to promote the understanding of traditional Chinese festival "year" cultural,incentives students’ awareness of heritage and protection of excellent folk art,helps to enhance the communicate enthusiasm between students and their parents,helps students to understand the characteristics of local culture,helps students to produce national self-confidence and national pride,contributes to the expansion of knowledge,broadens their horizons,strengthens the ability of observation and performance art of painting and so on.
