The professionalization of the teacher is not only the tendency but also the direction of the teaching revolution.Recently,because of the further promotion of the work of educational revolution,especially after the publication of < Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers(for Trial Implementation)>,the requirement on the quality of the preschool teacher has been much higher.Based on the survey on the teachers in Yuelu District,the study comprehensively analyzes the current development and the problems that we face.Several approaches have been adopted,including literature analysis,questionnaires survey and interview.As one of the leading education district,the preschool teachers in Yuelu District has maintained relatively high level of the teaching expertise.However,in order to keep pace with the fast-developing society,preschool teachers should not stop studying.It is found that the factors that affect the professionalizing of teaching can be classified into two parts: internal and external reasons.The former includes career ambitions,professional competency,professional consciousness,whereas the latter involves social environment,policy direction,theoretic instruction and the management of the kindergarten.The paper proposes several strategies in solving the problems accordingly,therefore of significance theoretically and realistically.
