What and how to teach the ancient-style essay has always been a major problem faced by Chinese teachers in primary and secondary schools.Although the results of the research on ancient-style essay teaching have emerged in an endless stream,the substantive issues of ancient-style essay teaching have not been solved.With the increase of the proportion of ancient-style essay in teaching materials,ancient-style essay teaching will face new challenges.Zhao Qianxiang's teaching of “Green Classics” helps students complete the learning tasks of ancient-style essay through the cultivation of students' classical fluency,the strengthening of reading and the combination of reading and writing.The teaching of “Green Classics” has a strong practical operation for ancient-style essay teaching.Therefore,based on the combination of educational practice,a practical teaching strategy with practical significance was proposed through the study of the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of Zhao Qianxiang's “Green Classics” teaching,as well as the analysis of the teaching methods of ancient-style essay and teaching cases.Then the author analyzes the cultural value,educational value and practical value of the teaching of “Green Classics”.Based on the practice,it introspects the integration of the theory of “Green Classics”,the universality problem,and the problem of educational cooperation,and discusses its development prospects as well.
