The key competences of preschool education students in normal universities is the essential character and key ability of preschool students who are formed under the preschool education discipline to meet the future social challenges and lifelong development.The composition and characteristics of key competences of students in preschool education majors of a teacher's college are designed to implement the spirit of “Chinese students' key development competences” and “professional standards for kindergarten teachers(trial)”,which has certain theories for further enriching the development of key competences systems for students in our country.Significance,provide theoretical support and reference for the formation of kindergarten teachers' professional qualities,and also have many practical significance for the development of preschool education in normal universities.This study collates and analyzes domestic and foreign research results,and interviews kindergarten leaders and first-line kindergarten teachers to construct a structural dimension of key competences of preschool education students in normal universities.Based on this,a“Questionnaire for key competences of Preschool Education Students in Normal Universities ”was prepared.SPSS 20.0 was used to analyze the data of the questionnaires,and the composition of key competences of preschool education students in normal universities was summarized.Through the reliability and validity of the questionnaire of Lisrel 8.80,a formal questionnaire with good reliability and validity was formed.Based on the integration and analysis of the results of the formal questionnaire data,the characteristics of the key competences of preschool education majors are discussed.The results of this study show that:1.The key competences of preschool education students in normal universities is the essential character and key ability of preschool students who are formed under the preschool education discipline to meet the future social challenges and lifelong development.It consists of generalcompetency and professional competency.General competences refer to the competency that all citizens should possess,including three aspects: cultural foundation,independent development,and social participation;Professional competences,that is,the necessary qualifications of preschool education professionals,including professional ideas and ethics,professional knowledge,professional ability of three aspects.2.The research self-compiled “Questionnaire for key competences of Preschool Education Students in Normal Universities ” has good reliability and validity.3.The composition of key competences of preschool education majors in normal university is multidimensional and pluralistic.4.The level of key competences for preschool education majors in normal universities is generally good,but professional knowledge is weak.5.There is a significant grade difference in the level of key competences of preschool education majors in normal universities.6.The highest level of preschool education among the students who volunteer for admission.7.The more preschool education students in normal universities have the more experience of preschool education,the better the key competences level.8.Students with aspirations to improve their academic qualifications in preschool education majors in normal niversity often have higher key competences level.
