| The rapid development of knowledge economy needs more high quality talents,and education is an important part in training talents.Teachers’quality influences the quality of education directly,so the high quality of teachers is the key to training talents.Since the 1980s,the emphasis of American teacher education reform is to improve teachers’practical ability in education and teaching.Performance assessment has been widely used in the practice of accreditation of teachers,and California has tried to use Teaching Performance Assessment in the practice of preliminary teacher qualification certification.Using Teaching Performance Assessment effectively improves the ability to identify new teachers’ practical teaching of the reliability and validity.California has formed a comparatively perfect system in Teaching Performance Assessment,including different performance assessment schemes.California now uses more of the California Teaching Performance A.ssessment(California Teaching Performance Assessment,abbreviation CALTPA),and make it a prerequisite for the accreditation of preliminary teachers.This paper takes the CalTPA scheme as the research object.It contains a systematic study on the origin,design and the source of design,evaluation framework and implementation,the characteristics,problems and inspirations of CalTPA scheme.And the comparision about CalTPA performance assessment scheme with PACT in many aspects of comparative analysis,hoping to gain effective experience.This paper is divided into four chapters,the first three chapters mainly about CalTPA introduction and analysis,and the comparison with another performance assessment scheme;The fourth chapter is mainly about CalTPA characteristics and the existing problems,and some enlightenments about teacher qualification certification,and teaching practice of teacher education. |
