Research On Teachers' Qualification Certificate System In China

The thought of teacher professionalization has been the mainstream of education thought. The teacher certification system is the system guarantee of teacher professionalization. So how to promote the teacher professional development by innovating teacher certification is the issue to be resolved.The teacher certification system symbolizes the new development phase of education in every country. It has positive effect on teacher professional development and teachers quality. But now, its faults make teacher certification not bring it into full play, and even have negative effect on teacher professional development.The dissertation induces some questions in view of the research of history and present situation, explaining and analyzing the law and regulations connected with the teacher certification system of our country and combining with the practices of the teacher certification system in Beijing. And using for reference of successful experiences of the teacher certification system in America and Japan, it puts forward five suggestions for consideration, for example, 1.perfect species of teacher certification; 2.explicate the consideration of commute among different teacher certification ; 3.limit the expiration of teacher certification; 4.criterion the function of the agent awarding teacher certification; 5.reinforce the supervise for teacher certification, to perfect the teacher certification system of our country.
