The social service ability of college students is the ability of college students in working on social practice.Promoting the social service ability of undergraduates is conducive to the improvement of college students' responsibility,it's also enhancing self-esteem and self-efficacy of undergraduates,and improving the quality of personnel training.However,when the current part of undergraduates have bad social service ability,the weak social responsibility awareness,the wrong values.Here is the reason,except for he objective factors such as family and social environment factors,college students have obvious shortcomings and deficiencies themselves Therefore,it's significance to probe into the effective ways and to find out the methods that promoting the social service ability of undergraduates from multiple perspectives.In fact,the factors that affect the social service ability of college students are diverse and complex.However,the level of self-esteem and the self-efficacy of college students play a key role in social service ability.Consequently,this study explored the effective ways and means to enhance the social service ability of college students which is based on the self-esteem and self-efficacy.The research focuses on five issues:(1)using the Rosenberg self-esteem scale to investigate the status quo of self-esteem of college students in 6 colleges and universities in Zhejiang province,and to clarify existing problems;(2)use the general self-efficacy scale to test the overall self-efficacy of college students and grasp the group characteristics;(3)select "the college students' learning motivation questionnaire" and "scale of college students' interpersonal communication ability" of six universities in social service ability of college students,master the important factors affecting the community social service ability;(4)the correlation and regression analysis of college students' social service ability,self-efficacy and self-esteem level further clarified the relationship between the three.(5)the study also is general self-efficacy in mediating role between social service ability and self-esteem in-depth consideration,to clarify the general self-efficacy in social service ability and the important role of the mechanism between self-esteem.The results of the study mainly include:(1)the students' self-esteem level,general self-efficacy and social service ability are in the middle level,and all three are olive shaped.(2)demographic characteristics significantly differ from college students' self-esteem,self-efficacy level and social service ability.(3)there are significant differences between social services in respect of self-esteem,self-efficacy level and social service capacity.(4)there are two significant correlations between social service competence,self-efficacy and self-esteem.(5)on the one hand,self-esteem of college students' individual in social service ability dimension "interest in learning","the ability to pursue" and "cognitive and evaluation approaches" explanation is strong,and with the above three factors was significantly positively related;However,the explanation of "social withdrawal" is weak and has a significant negative correlation with this factor.(6)self-efficacy plays a mediating role between college students' social service ability and self-esteem level,with a total effect ratio of45%.(7)both self-esteem and general self-efficacy have positive predictive effects on college students' social service ability;And self-esteem can explain the variation of26.5% of college students' social service ability alone.The general self-efficacy can also explain the variation of 21.6% of college students' social service ability alone,that is,self-esteem is more influential to social service ability than self-efficacy.According to the above conclusions,the author puts forward some Suggestions and countermeasures on the cultivation of college students' self-esteem.
