The Historical Interpretation Ability is an important part of the ability of history subject,it's the key to deepen the history teaching.The Historical Interpretation Ability is a kind of ability that can clear the important meaning of historical facts,the relevant concept of historical facts,the historical position on the knowing historical facts and the basic rule of historical development to solve the problem of history.With the deepgoing reform of historical teaching in middle school,The Historical Interpretation Ability is gradually paid attention to by education department and scholars in historical teaching.In the recent 40 years,many experts and scholars have published a lot of articles in this field in our country,which studied the issue of the ability of history subject from different aspects and levels.Based on the research of former people and the fact of history teaching in the middle school,investigation and study on the base of statistic and analysis of the current situation of the study of this ability in the recent 40 yours,I clears up the concepts of historical thinking,know the current situation and problems about cultivating the history interpretation ability from the survey and the interview results,and combine with personal teaching practice to explore the effective ways to develop The Historical Interpretation Ability.There are five parts in this article.The first part :the introduction part,mainly from the characteristics of history teaching,The new curriculum reform,The needs of the history classroom effective teaching,clarifies the concept of The Historical Interpretation Ability,reviews the research status quo of The Historical Interpretation Ability,describes the research ideas of this topic,the research methods.The second part :mainly from the concept and connotation of historical interpretation ability by distinguishing and analysis on interpretation,judgment and comprehension.The third part:this paper have launched an investigation into students' historical interpretation ability,have carefully analysed of the survey results,analyze problem of fostering students' historical investigation ability among present history teaching and summarize the reasons of problems.The forth part is the basis of pointed out in the third part of the middle school history teaching for interpretation of existing problems and put forward specific implementation strategies which provide a good reference for the middle school history teaching.The fifth part is teaching desigh and mode to train students' historical interpretation ability.Last but not the least,it is added the author's historical lesson samples in this paper to make the application of cultivating historical interpretation ability in practice.
