This study mainly investigates the application of flipped classroom of English vocabulary and grammar teaching in high schools and tries to explore the influence it exerts on students' English learning autonomy and learning interest. It also aims to reveal whether flipped classroom teaching mode can improve students' English level, compared with traditional classroom teaching mode. The research methods adopted are identical group's experiments, questionnaires and case study. The implementation of identical group's experiments mainly embody different teaching modes in the control class and the experimental class, which means the traditional teaching mode is used in the control class while the flipped classroom teaching mode based on micro-videos is used in the experimental class. Before and after the experiment,pre-test and post-test are respectively applied to test the teaching effect. Moreover, questionnaires and case study are applied to collect further information to verify whether flipped classroom influences students' autonomy and interest in English learning.Through empirical research,it is found that the use of flipped classroom teaching mode can promote the English study of high school students, improve students' autonomy and interest in English learning, and slightly improve their academic performance within a certain period of time. However,as a new teaching mode, flipped classroom is still in its preliminary stage. Its learning effect on different levels of students remains to be further studied. Therefore, teachers should learn more relevant theories, improve their theoretical basis and learn from the successful experience to enhance their research ability. In designing lesson plans and micro-videos,teachers should try to uphold the concept of "layered teaching" to help students enhance their lifelong learning abilities.
