As the Chinese assistant,I worked for Tarago Education Community for 11 months,which was from 27 th,Jan.2016 to 20 th,Dec.2016.After arrival,combined with the teaching practice in Australia and deeply understanding of Australian culture,I strove to achieve student centered with local students’ preferences as well as their needs and designed a variety of Chinese teaching topics.I’d overcome the lack of textbooks and other difficulties like students’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese was not high.And after one-year teaching,the students’ Chinese proficiency had improved significantly and the understanding of Chinese culture and China’s national conditions had increased.Based on those positive teaching effects,I decided to record the one-year teaching case in order to make contribution to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Combined with the Victoria Australia Curriculum and local teaching target,this article adopted the methods of observation.And after a large number of local Chinese classroom observation,it also adopted teaching recording.I recorded the remarkable teaching cases in detail,which were all my original work and picked up 13 cases of the most typical ones,involving a wide range,which included teaching of Chinese culture and the language ontologies.The cases were divided into four chunks: phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and culture.It was not only presented the three-dimensional teaching,but also reflected my thinking about the local Chinese teaching.The teaching objects were mainly about Australian primary school students,which have originality and reference for the lack of overseas Chinese teaching and resources in primary and secondary college schools.This article consists of four parts.The first part combines with reason and value of the topic,the previous research results,the contents and methods of this study and the related theoretical basis.The second part is the introduction of Chinese teaching situation and the existing problems in Tarago Education Community.The author applies heavy ink to the third part,which describes and analyzes the most typical cases,which includes phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and culture.The pronunciation part is to teach vowels,consonants such as: e,ü,j,q,x,zh,ch,sh,r,z,c,s.And in this part,it also includes teaching spelling rules and four tones.The vocabulary part includes the model of teaching vocabulary,tong twists as well as rhymes teaching.The grammar part combines with students’ life which focuses on the importance of using language.The culture part includs the ice breaking activities with Chinese cultural knowledge,Chinese traditional paintings teaching and current events sharing.The forth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research results and the shortcomings of this article.
