Modern Prose is the main genre in the junior middle school language teaching material,and it plays an important role in Chinese teaching.Promoting the efficiency of Modern Prose teaching,can not only help to improve the students' ability to appreciate the prose but also can develop their esthesis,ideation,and imagination.It can also promote their aesthetic perception and give junior high school students more emotional rendering,promoting the healthy development of students' personality.In the concrete teaching practice,although many front-line teachers invested a lot of vigor in teaching the Modern Prose in many different ways,having lots of gains especially those which should be leaned and be popular,we can not deny that there are many problems that can not be ignored in teaching junior Chinese.We must analyze them and discuss about them to find the better way of solving the problems.It can improve the effect of the teaching of Modern Prose,and then promote the quality of junior Chinese teaching.This paper established the research object as a junior high school teaching of Modern Prose.It selected eight representative modern prose teaching junior high school as a case study,and designed the questionnaire pointedly.We can know what we gained and lost in junior high school teaching of Modern Prose through it,and then analyze,conclude,generalize,and summarize.We can find the reason why these problems came out through analyze it deeply,and find out how to solve the main problems in teaching modern prose.We want to give the teachers some beneficial advises and some enlightenment of teaching.This paper has four parts,and here are its contents:It summarizes the basis and the meaning of the research first,and summarizes the status of the research,the ideas and the methods.Next,it surveys the teaching of Modern Prose in Harbin in the form of questionnaire.We can see Chinese teachers has made some achievements in teaching modern prose,in the teaching ideas,in the arrangements and even in teaching methods through the analyses and summarizes of the research.We must give some affirmation to those good experience.At the same time,we find that there are many problems in teaching modern prose,such as : they pay attention to what the teachers teach,but ignore students' comprehension.They pay attention to the skills learning,but ignore the emotional rendering.They pay attention to the language appreciation,but ignore the aesthetic experience.More knowledge accumulation,but less ability training.More teaching in class,but less extracurricular expanding.For the problems that we can see in junior high school teaching of Modern Prose in the class,we can see the reasons why they exists from two levels,the teachers and the students.From the teachers' angle,the lag of teaching ideas,the leaning of the contents,the inflexible teaching methods and the limits of their ability make the modern prose be lack of vitality and vigor.Students' interests,the amount of reading,the methods of reading and the meaning of researching are the main reason of the low efficiency in class.How to solve the problems in teaching the modern prose,the writer give many strategies with the help of some teaching methods of modern prose teaching and combined the some specific teaching experience according to the different grades and different kinds of process.I believe that these strategy which can be done easily can not only give the front-line Chinese teachers some thoughts and methods,promoting the quality of the teaching of Modern Prose,but also give the teachers in other regions some revelation.Then we can promote the effect of Modern Prose teaching,the percipient of students and give some help to their language comprehensive qualities.
