A Practical Study Of The Teaching Reform On Middle School English Listening And Speaking Lessons Based On Wisdom Teaching System

Withthe development of information technology,all industries will be influenced by it.And they will seek for new opportunities to make them more competitive.The teaching area is the same.The application of Internet,big data and cloud computing will definitelygeneratea new round of teaching reform.Our school is different from the traditional schools,it takes the “elective course” mode.Teachers have fewer teaching lessons each week,they do not see the students very often,and students have more self-study time.Thus teachers must think about these questions:How to improve teaching efficiency? How to enhance students’ listening and speaking ability? How to cultivate students’ self-study abilities? How to realize individualized learning?The application of wisdom teaching system offers some solutions to these problems.I carried out a practice study of the teaching reforming on English listening and speaking lessons of middle school based on wisdom teaching system in my school.Firstly,I try to find out the current problems of English listening and speaking lessons in middle school according to the papers and interviews.Then I focus on the functions of wisdom teaching system andI try to design the new teaching mode based on the theory of constructivism,mastery study,the cone of learning and flipped classroom.After that,Iuse the “action research” method to observe my class for three rounds.Each round includes four steps: plan-application—observation—reflection,thus I can polish and improve my teaching design gradually.In the end,I draw the conclusion according to my own teaching experience,the questionnaires and face-toface interviews.The kind of teaching mode has advantages in broadening students’ listening and speaking space,individualized learning,teaching resource enrichment and feedback giving.However,it also has some disadvantages.The hardware and software of the system needed to be upgraded.The controlling and management of students’ pad is very difficult.Teachers and students need to constantly adjust their teaching and learning way.These are all challenges faced by this teaching mode.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is general introduction.It introduces the research background,purpose,research methods and current situation at home and abroad.The second chapter is about the relative theories,concept defining.I also introduce the functions of the wisdom teaching system and come up with the general teaching mode of Englishlistening and speaking lessons based on wisdom teaching system.In the third chapter,I introduce my 3-round research in details.In the fourth chapter,I analyze the data collected within the research process.In the last chapter,I draw the conclusion,point out the deficiency of the research and further to come up with implementation strategies.
