The Empirical Research On The Competitiveness Of Higher Education And Its Influencing Factors In China

The development of the country can not be separated from the development of various cities,the development of the city can not be separated from the development of talent,and talent development is inseparable from the development of education.Higher education,as the highest stage of the development of education,transports a large number of specialized talents for the development of cities.In this background,research status quo of city higher education development,analysis of the competitiveness of Higher Education City,has an important significance to explore the factors that influence the development of higher education of the city,plays an active role to promote the development of the city and the coordinated development of higher education.This paper takes the city competitiveness theory,the function of higher education theory and other related theories,the 257 city in China as the research object,construct the evaluation index system of city competitiveness of higher education,with the factor analysis method to analyze the competitiveness of higher education in our country city by SPSS software.At the same time,we select some social and economic factors that influence the competitiveness of higher education,and use SAS statistical software to analyze the main factors that affect the competitiveness of China’s higher education.Finally,the classification of all urban areas is analyzed by using the competitiveness of higher education and social economic development.The results show that the competitiveness of higher education is mainly affected by the urbanization rate,the proportion of the first industry and the third industry in GDP,and the per capita fiscal revenue and expenditure.The main factors through the factor scores of competitiveness of higher education of our country city and ranking and affect the development of higher education,in order to promote further development of higher education of our country city,improve the city competitiveness of higher education,combined with the above analysis,put forward four suggestions: to identify the location,expand the scale of higher education;outstanding the characteristics,and actively promote the construction of high level university;setting information and advancing the building of cohesion,subject degree system;increase investment,make long-term planning and deployment.
