On The Construction Of “Shajia Bang” Collective Memory

This article is based on the theoretical perspective of Habuwah's “social construction of memory”,at the same time,with Paul Connerton's “ceremonies and memory” and other points of view.It takes the “Shajia bang memory” as the research object,trying to analyze the construction,control and arousal of power on memory in discourse changes,revealing its behind to aggregate identity,to confirm the legitimacy and other motives.The article is divided into two sections.The last concerns the relationship of the text,power and memory.It follows diachronic research path,to elaborate the formation and rheology of the “Shajia bang” core memory theme,the construction of mainstream discourse on “Shajia bang memory” and the recall and arousal of that.Thus it reveals that the “Shajia bang memory” has constantly been reconstructed,rewrited and consolidated in order to meet the power needs of different periods.The next concerns the relationship of the space,power and memory,taking the “Shajia bang Scenic Area”,a actual geography space,as the research object,from the perspective of spatial narrative and ceremony identity,to elaborate the control of power on memory and the bodily practices characterization of that.At last,it studys the relationship of scenic area,tourists and the “red memory”.The study found,as a typical red holy land,“red content” of the scenic area has been gradually diluted,due to economic factors.“Red memory” is often an irrelevant option in the area but not absolutely.Therefore,the study says it shows “drift” appearance.
