The Geography Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)further clarify the key role of basic education curriculum in the training of "strengthening morality education".As a basic course linked to the geography of compulsory education,the geography curriculum of senior high school aims to enable students to acquire four essential qualities,namely man-earth coordinate concept,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographic practice ability,and key skills,which make students to study and appreciate natural and human environment,understand the sense of harmony between man and nature and improve the taste of life and spiritual realm in a geographical perspective.With the continuous deepening of the reform of geography curriculum,schools and teachers pay more and more attention to the students' comprehensive quality and core literacy,especially the cultivation of geographic practical ability.Schools tried to reverse the original focus on knowledge development through organizing geography knowledge contests and setting up geography learning camps and innovate geography operations.In 2016,the Ministry of Education formally introduced the study-tour into the teaching plans of primary and secondary schools,and made clear regulations for the time to carry out study-tours in high school.As an important part of comprehensive practical activities,study-tour plays an irreplaceable role in further enhancing students' scientific and cultural accomplishments,comprehensive qualities,independent development and communication and cooperation abilities.Based on the summarization of previous studies,this paper combines current geographic practice ability with study-tour,and takes Hebei Zhengding Middle School as an example to analyze the status quo of geographic practice ability and the development of study-tour in the freshmen and sophomores in high school.In addition,a thorough analysis has been carried out based on the training of geographic practice ability,the choice of the content,the formulation of the plan and the design of the evaluation on study-tour.Finally,based on the principles of study-tour content selection and taking different regions as examples,conducted the study-tour specific design.The whole essay is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,the research background and the significance of the research are analyzed.Secondly,the research status and enlightenment at home and abroad are analyzed and summarized to conclude the content and direction of the research.Finally,the theoretical basis and research methods are introduced.The second part defines the study-tour and geographic practice ability,including the concept and characteristics of study-tour,the concept of geographical practice and its composition,and analyzes the role of study-tour in the training of geographic practice ability.The third part takes Hebei Zhengding Middle School as an example to survey and analyze the status quo of geographic practice ability of freshmen and sophomores in high schools by questionnaire survey,interview and field observation.In the meantime,there are also some interviews on first-line geography teachers to further understand the status of the high school study-tour.The fourth part proposes a research on study-tour design,which aims on the current situation of training on geography practice ability in high schools,including curriculum analysis,content selection,scheme design and evaluation design.The content selection mainly bases on the high school geography curriculum standard,Geography textbooks,the local geography and an all-round development of students.The formulation of programs includes five major parts namely the establishment of topics and projects,the objectives of research,the content and route selection on geographic practice ability,the organization,the activity forms and precautions.The fifth part is the specific case design under the framework of research study-tour program.According to the curriculum structure in the geography curriculum standard,the study-tour plans will be designed for some courses in Compulsory 1,Compulsory 2 and Optional Compulsory II,in which different regions will be taken as examples.The sixth part is the conclusion and the prospect that summarizes the basic conclusion of this essay,and illustrates the current and further problems in the research.
