This paper study on order of strokes of Chinese characters from Professional Chinese Class Student of Thailand High School,collected during the period from May 2016 to March2017,when the author being the Chinese language volunteer in Thungsong School,Nakhon Si Thammarat,the south of Thailand.The test object is from Professional Chinese Class Student of Thailand High School,the content is the State Language Commission in 1988 issued the "Modern Chinese Commonly Used Word Table" the most commonly used 500 words.The purpose of this paper is through the test of Chinese characters order of stroke to investigate the possible causes,about the errors of order of strokes of Chinese characters in the second language learners.This paper investigates the influence of learners' family background and learning attitude on the accuracy of order of stroke order through the survey of the oral and written.The first chapter reviews the both domestic and abroad research achievements of Chinese characters,including the history and current situation of Chinese characters teaching,learning Chinese character in Non-Chinese environment,Chinese teaching methods and order of strokes of Chinese characters.Then introduces the research content and innovation of this paper.The second chapter is the preparatory work for the collection of Chinese characters,including the analysis and selection of test words,the investigation of students' Chinese proficiency,and the collection and collation of material.The third chapter is the analysis of the errors and causes of order of strokes of the Chinese characters,including the mastery of the basic and supplementary rules of order of strokes,the mastery of the internal level of the Chinese characters,the negative transfer of the basic and supplementary rules of the stroke,the number of strokes,the number of component of Chinese characters,the combination of component of Chinese characters and the effect of writing uniformity.The fourth chapter analyzed the result of oral and written survey,focusing on the learners' family background and learning attitude.The conclusion part summarizes the findings of the investigation and expounds the shortcomings of this paper.Compared with the current author's literature,the innovations of this paper are as follows:1.The reasons that affect the correct rate of Chinese characters stroke are studied in many aspects.The coverage of the study ranges from the number of Chinese characters to the number of strokes,the structure,the uniformity of writing to the learner's years of study,the level of Chinese,the family background,and the learning attitude.2.The amount of data is large.The total number of effective test is 2654,and the age of survey object span from senior grade one to grade three,also widely covered the Chinese level from the zero-based to the primary stage and the intermediate stage.From the collection method,let the students writethe stroke order according to their own thought,like:(?).By this way,studentswould write more conveniently and won't missing any part.3.Through the analysis,from the combination of strokes summed up in addition to the basic rules of the other stroke order than the supplementary ones.For example,the stroke order of "big" should be horizontal-Pie-Na,Pie should be cross after the horizontal.If do not teach students,it is possible to be written like(?),similar Chinese characters such as "???".
