Word order is not only an important grammatical means to express Chinese semantics, but also reflects the unique thinking characteristics and cognitive psychology of the Han.Both Chinese and Thai are isolated languages, and word order is an important means of expressing grammatical meaning in the two languages. The biggest difference in word order between Chinese and Thai is reflected in the front and back positions of adverbial and head language, which has become a difficult point for Thai students to learn Chinese.Based on the experience of teaching in Thailand, the author finds that the word order error rate of students learning Chinese adverbial is high and universal. In this regard, this article adopts the research methods of comparative analysis and error analysis to analyze the differences between Chinese and Thai adverbials. The test papers are designed with the adverbial sentence errors in the test paper, daily test and composition. And the questionnaire surveys students' learning and teacher's teaching, and conducts data statistics and analysis research on students' errors.Analyze the reasons for the errors, and put forward targeted suggestions for teacher teaching, student learning and textbook compilation. There are six parts in this paper:The first part is the introduction, which explains the reason, research methods, and theoretical basis of the topic.Through the previous research results,it can be found that the current comparative research results of the two languages are relatively rich, but the description of the types of students' errors and the analysis of the causes of errors are relatively general and lack pertinence. The second part uses the method of comparative analysis to describe in detail the differences between the two languages in terms of the definitions of adverbials in Chinese and Thai, types of adverbials, constituents of adverbials and the position of adverbials in sentences, and demonstrates them with examples. The third part explains the overall situation of the corpus. At the same time,it classifies and counts the adverbial word order errors in Thai students' composition, daily examination and test papers, and describes the single and multiple adverbial word order errors respectively. The fourth part combines the types of errors in the previous article to analyze the causes of errors in detail from the aspects of language element differences, learner individual factors, cultural cognition differences, textbook compilation and language environment. The fifth part combines the analysis of the types and causes of students' errors in the previous article, and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions from three perspectives:teacher adverbial word order teaching, student adverbial word order learning, and textbook compilation. The sixth part is the conclusion, which summarizes the content and results of the full text research and points out the deficiencies of the research.
