Employment is the foundation of the people's livelihood.With the expansion of college enrollment of graduate students,the number of graduates has risen year by year.However,the employment situation is not optimistic.In particular,the female graduate students are restricted by many factors,such as physiology,their own quality and gender.At present,the problem of female graduates employment is becoming more and more prominent in China.The problems faced by female graduates students are not only limited by the employment difficulty itself,but also all aspects related to their employment.In this study,three universities,Hebei University of Technology are taken as examples to analyze the employment status of female graduate students by using methodologies of questionnaire,Delphy,qualitative analysis and literature research.From four dimensions of basic employment situation,wage rights and its security,satisfaction and development prospects to examine female graduates employment situation,and analyze problems in terms of gender,different positions and sectors.With female graduate students who have been employed in 2015 as the analysis object,and male graduates as reference sample,the analysis result shows that the employment level of female graduates is lower than that of male graduates,and female graduates focus more on the stability of jobs.Thus female graduates tend to find jobs in school and public institution,which are more stable.By analyzing the questionnaire,this paper found out that the influencing factors of female postgraduates' employment problems lies in their professional quality,employment unrealistic expectations,social gender and employment guidance in colleges and universities.Finally,according to the empirical research and theoretical analysis of the conclusion,this paper pu t forward countermeasures and suggestions on the female graduates employment in Hebei province based on human capital theory,gender theory and expectation theory.The female graduates shall Seize every opportunity to enhance their own capability;The government shall take measures to eliminate gender discrimination,to construct gender equality employment environment,to introduce faculty resource by using geographical advantages,to develop cross regional cooperation between colleges and companies.Hopefully,this paper would contribute to solve female employment problem in Hebei Province.
