Ministry of Education issued documents that emphasize the need to vigorously develop the vocational education,innovate the ways and the environment of teaching and learning with information technology,develop and integrate digital resources,focus on nurturing students' professional ethics and professional skills,develop education for the human beings and the society.The basic goal is to help people learn skills and abilities.On currently situation view,however,most secondary vocational students may not have firm knowledge base,clear learning target and bad learning habits,which makes secondary vocational students lack learning initiative and learning enthusiasm.What's worse,weak learning motivation,improper learning styles and low position of subject status of students lead to a bad result that it weakens consciousness of active learning and active participation,thus lowering learning effect of students.In order to change this situation,improving students' learning effects and promoting active learning of vocational students comes to be a top priority.This study takes iPad Innovative Learning Style,conducted by Ningbo Vocational Education Center School,as Example meaning to design and develop a curriculum to promote active learning of secondary vocational students.Through searching and reading active learning-related literature,then analyzing the research actuality about active learning at home and abroad,the author summed up the definition and characteristics of active learning.With the course design research actuality,this research takes student learning styles change and students' subjectivity development as the guiding ideology.Based on constructivism theory and activity theory,this study generalized a curriculum design framework of promoting active learning of vocational students.After being implemented,the author collected data via questionnaires and interviews and analyzed the change of active learning level of students.There were 20 students as research objects who were first-year students in secondary vocational schools,the study conducted a questionnaire survey before curriculum implementation,at the middle of curriculum implementation and after curriculum implementation.Results showed that in cognition,feeling and behavior aspects,the engagement level of student increased,and the active learning level are showing an upward tendency from three time nodes and the differences are significant.It means that this curriculum has its effects of promoting active learning of secondary vocational students.Finally,the author redesigned the course based on the analysis and summary of the implementation of iPad Innovative Learning Style.
