The Application Of Symmetry In The Middle School Mathematics Teaching Research

Symmetry is a sense of balance,equivalence or correspondence.In science and daily life,symmetrical things often give a person with grave feeling,beautiful feeling.Symmetry is not only a very important point of view of mathematics,and modern mathematics closely linked to the concept of \ "group\",and in the fields such as physics,chemistry,art and architecture,has a wide range of applications.Symmetry is not only reveals the nature of things in the real world attributes,also reflected the harmonious beauty of mathematics.Symmetry problem in middle school mathematics is very common,such as addition and multiplication commutative law,regular polygon,cube,round and ball,one yuan polynomial roots,conic,trigonometric function image,etc.In the new curriculum standard for middle school mathematics teaching put forward higher requirements on symmetry.This paper studies the application of symmetry in the middle school mathematics teaching,which is divided into three parts:The first part of this paper introduces the connotation of the symmetrical and the number of Chinese and foreign history of mathematics background,the significance of symmetry to middle school mathematics teaching is discussed,and the application status of symmetry in the current middle school mathematics teaching.The second part discusses the symmetry in the middle school mathematics,combining with the teaching material content,analysis of the plane figure of axial symmetry and center symmetry with translational symmetry,and spatial graphic face said and rotational symmetry,and discusses the differences and connections between them.In addition,also analyzed the formulas and theorems of symmetry.The third part emphatically discusses some applications of symmetry in the middle school mathematics teaching,combining with the instance,this paper discusses the method of symmetry in axisymmetric concept,linear equation,function parity aspects such as teaching,as well as the role of symmetry in training students' problem solving ability.We believe that the symmetry is an important concept in middle schoolmathematics,not only is a kind of basic method to solve the problem.Strengthen the concept of symmetry and the method of teaching can make students better grasp the basic knowledge,help to improve students' ability to analyze problems,solve the problem,can also help students cultivation of mathematical culture,promote the all-round development of students.
