Symmetry is an important concept in middle school mathematics.Strengthening the teaching of symmetrical concept and symmetrical thinking method can make students better master basic knowledge,improve students' ability to analyze and solve problems,improve the speed of doing problems,cultivate students' interest in mathematics learning,and enhance students' mathematical literacy.Symmetry problem is very common in middle school mathematics,the new curriculum standards also put forward higher requirements for the teaching of symmetry in middle school mathematics.This thesis takes symmetry knowledge in middle school mathematics as the main line,uses some symmetry problems in middle school mathematics textbooks as materials.Research and design cases related to symmetry ideology of middle school mathematics,and explain its research meaning.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part describes the research background and content of this paper,and briefly discusses the history of mathematics related to symmetry.The second part studies symmetry in middle school mathematics,it mainly explores the symmetry problems of geometry and algebra.In the aspect of geometry,the application of the idea of symmetry is mainly expounded from the three aspects of axisymmetric,centrosymmetric and symmetries.In the aspect of algebra,the symmetries contained in formulas,theorems,symmetries and rotational symmetries are mainly analyzed.Combining with typical cases,the third part discusses the teaching of the idea of symmetry in three aspects: function,probability and rotation symmetry.The fourth part summarizes the thinking of teachers caused by symmetry and puts forward some teaching suggestions from the perspective of symmetry.The fifth part shows the extension of the idea of symmetry,which shows that it is easy to get some important concepts or conclusions from the perspective of symmetry and the combination of numbers and shapes.
