Medical Social Work Intervention To Relieve Anxiety Of Family Members Of Elder Cancer Patients

As a major public health problem in the world,cancer brings a heavy burden to individuals and families.At present,the attention of the elderly patients with cancer is gradually increasing,however,cancer not only caused a major blow to the patient,also caused a heavy torment to the families.Elderly patients with cancer patients are always concerned about the patient's departure;under the patient's treatment of all the complicated affairs;bear the huge cost of treatment;bear the pressure of life in all aspects.They don't even have the energy to work,have no time to take care of the family,have no mood to deal with people,and worry about insomnia.With the progress of the society,more and more cancer patients choose to stay in hospital,and the family members of caregivers also live in hospital for a long time.In the face of the hospital is difficult to adapt to the environment,in the face of suffering patients suffering from torture,the face of time to take care of the patient and family members of the soul of the medical staff,over time,the family's negative emotions accumulated,there has been anxiety.The anxiety of the family members will have a negative impact on the patient,followed by the growing influence of the whole family.So,for the intervention on anxiety of the family can not be urgent.In this paper,using the method of community medical work on elderly cancer patients' family members anxiety intervention,improve the quality of life of patients and their families.Anxiety is manifested in the following aspects: insomnia,irritability,fear,lack of concentration and helplessness.First,social worker recruit members of the hospital,and use the anxiety scale to test them.Social worker design and implement the activities according to the specific conditions of the members.Last,with the pre-test,the post test of anxiety scale can show the effect of the medical social work intervention in elderly cancer patients' family members anxiety.In the process of group work,according to the case,prediction,design,implementation,project evaluation and final six stages,and make implementation plan of groups in the medical work record,grasp the member's change and growth,timely response to the needs of the members.Through the intervention of medical social work,the anxiety of family members of elderly cancer patients has slowed down,which indicates that the medical social work can be effectively applied to the anxiety of the elderly patients with cancer.
