A Practical Study Of Group Intervention In Depression Relief In Breast Cancer Patients

With the continuous progress of society,people have more and more higher requirements for medical humanities.They hope that medicine can pay attention to the overall health of people,rather than just physical rehabilitation.Therefore,the concept of "whole-person health" meets people’s demands for various needs of health,including the health and development of mental health and social function.The most common malignant tumor in women’s health is breast cancer.Although the progress of medical technology has continuously improved the treatment and rehabilitation level of breast cancer,it is still poses a serious threat to women’s health,and the mental trauma of breast cancer patients gets little attention.These depressed emotions can have a serious negative impact on the physical recovery and quality of life of breast cancer patients,so it is important to pay attention to their psychological status and reduce the depression for breast cancer patients to return to normal life.This study through the author in the hospital internship,deep breast surgery,communicate with breast cancer patients,breast surgery,and in the semi-structured interview,observation and literature,on the basis of ecosystem and social support theory,to patients with postoperative depression and the service object,through group work method,provide intervention services for depression,help them establish a new social network and get more support,strengthen the confidence and ability to deal with disease,improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients,establish the confidence and courage to continue life.After the end of the service,the process evaluation and result evaluation were conducted,and it was found that the social work intervention of breast cancer patients,the patients’ depression was significantly reduced,the cognition of the disease changed,they had the confidence and courage to face the future life,and the method of group work was feasible.But at the same time there is a low identity of social work,professional service ability is limited,the sustainability of service effect,ethical problems,finally from the hospital,professional and policy three levels proposed the social work intervention in breast cancer patients depression relief advice,in order to provide more effective and appropriate service for breast cancer patients.
