Objective :This paper discusses table tennis exercise on the influence of old people's balance function attempting from muscle strength of lower limbs?reaction time?dynamic equilibrium and static balance.It as a kind of method to improve the old balance exercise provides theory basis.Methods:This paper took 22 Guangzhou community citizens(6 men and 16women)aged from 61 to 70 as research objects who were divided into control group(4 men and 7 women)and experimental group(2 men and 9 women)which carried on 12 weeks table tennis exercise,4 times a week(once every two days),each time for 60 minutes,the control group without exercising.Subjects were measured index of correlation before,during(the 4th and 8th week),and after the intervention,Through the analysis and comparison of the two groups of testing result in differences,determine table tennis on the influence of the balance ability.Before the trial,each stage after the last movement reflect the strength of lower limbs by sit stand ~ 6 times time used;Use choice reaction time tester to test the subjects' reaction time;Using balance function training evaluation system to evaluate the subjects' static balance ability;Using star stretch balance measurement test of dynamic balance.To enter data from SPSS16.0.Results:1.Comparing with before the experiment,The time of sit ~ stand 6 times was significantly shortened at the end of the second stage(P<0.05),it is very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.01).Compared with the end of phase 1,appeared at the end of the second stage significantly reduced(P<0.05),appeared at the end of the third stage is significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with control group,appeared with the same result.2.Compared with before the experiment,the experimental group subjects reaction appear significantly reduced at the end of the table tennis experiment stage(P<0.05).Compared with the end of phase 1,at the end of stage 2 and stage 3 no significant changes occurred at the end(P>0.05).Comparing with the control group,reaction time was very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.01).3.Comparing with pre-experiment:The experimental group subjects have revealed that the indicates was very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.05),which include the total path length,peripheral area,unit area and X axisoffset under feet open condition;The experimental group subjects have revealed that the indicates was very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.05),which include the total path length and unit area and romberg rate was significantly lower at the end of phase 2 and become significantly lower at the end of the third stage in the condition of foot close their eyes(P<0.05);Comparing with pre-experiment:The experimental group subjects have revealed that the indicates was very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.01),which include the total path length,peripheral area,unit area and unit time trajectory length in the single foot open state(P<0.05);The experimental group subjects have revealed that the indicates was very significant to reduce at the end of the third stage(P<0.01),which include the total path length,peripheral area and romberg rate in the condition of single foot close their eyes;The total path length appear significantly lower.comparing with control group: the experimental group are smaller than the control group in various postures of static equilibrium.4.Comparing with pre-experiment,The longest distance of the experimental group in all directions can be more than pre-experiment after experiment,After the experiment group compared with control group in the left leg SEBT value in addition to the anteromedial,lateral and anterolateral,have significant difference in the other direction at the end of the third stage(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Twelve-week table tennis exercise can significantly enhance the strength of lower limbs,it plays a positive role to improve balance ability to keep the old body posture stability this period of 4 weeks to 8 weeks is most obvious to improve the effect of table tennis exercise,12 weeks of table tennis exercise effect is better than 4 weeks and 8 weeks.2.Twelve-week table tennis exercise can significantly decrease reaction time,this period of beginning four weeks is most obvious to improve the effect of table tennis exercise,promote the improvement of balance ability in the elderly to a certain extent?12 weeks of table tennis exercise effect is better than other time.3.Twelve-week of table tennis exercise to improve the old people feel about four stand under the status of ontology,vestibular especially visual,,system rules of table tennis exercise has static balance ability of the elderly age falling effect,it can improve the static balance ability of human body.4.Twelve-week of table tennis exercise can improve the hip,knee,or the spread of two joints,the buckling capacity so that it can improve the dynamic balance ability of old people.
