| Plyometric training is a kind of training method that the skeletal muscle is stretched in advance under a certain load, and the centrifugal contraction is followed by centripetal contraction. At present, there are not many training methods for tennis players’ special lower limb strength in domestic colleges and universities. This study tries to compare and analyze the effects of the two training methods on the special lower limb strength of tennis players in colleges by using the method of Plyometric training and the traditional resistance force training in tennis training practice,so as to explore the training effects of the two training methods,so as to provide reference for tennis coaches and teachers in daily training and enrich the relevant research contents of special tennis strength training. The research methods used in this paper are literature, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics.Eight high-level tennis players from East China Normal University were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group(using rapid telescopic combined training)and the control group(using traditional resistance training),and a series of test indexes were collected before and after the experiment. The index of the maximum strength of the special lower limbs was the half squat of the weight-bearing barbell. The index of the special lower limbs’ rapid strength was the rope for forehand pedaling and the rope for backhand pedaling. The index of the special lower limbs’ endurance was the 10 m treadle running. All the data were processed and analyzed by SPSS26.0.The data before and after the experiment were analyzed by independent sample T test, and the data in the group were analyzed by paired sample T.Set the significance level to 0.05,when the result P < 0.05,the difference is significant, when the result P > 0.05,the difference is not significant. After eight weeks of intervention training, the subjects’ special lower limb strength was tested and the results were analyzed. The following conclusions were drawn:(1)After 8 weeks of Plyometric training, the special lower limb strength indexes of the athletes in the experimental group were tested. The results showed that there were significant differences(p < 0.05)in the improvement of the performance of weight bar semi-squat,forehand pedaling coxa pull rope, backhand pedaling coxa pull rope and10 m fold back running. Therefore, the Plyometric training could effectively improve the special lower limb strength of high-level tennis athletes in colleges.(2)After 8 weeks of traditional resistance strength training, the special strength indexes of the lower limbs of the athletes in the control group were tested. The results showed that: the improvement of the performance of the half squat of the weight bearing barbell, which reflects the maximum special strength of the lower limbs, was significant(p < 0.05),while the improvement of the performance of the indexes, which reflects the special fast strength and strength of the lower limbs, was not significant(p >0.05).It can be concluded that traditional resistance strength training can improve the maximum strength of tennis players’ lower limbs, but it has no significant effect on athletes’ strength and endurance.(3)Through 8 weeks of experimental intervention,we can see that the test results of various indexes in the experimental group of Plyometric training intervention are better than those in the control group of the resistance force intervention, and the effect of Plyometric training is more significant in terms of the range of increase, which shows that Plyometric training can better improve the special strength of lower limbs of high level tennis players in colleges compared with the traditional resistance force training. |
