Since 2000, with a series of reforms in the International Table Tennis Federation,such as 11 points system, small change big ball, no shelter from the service, new materials such as new rules etc., on the physical requirements of table tennis has reached the point that can not be ignored. Table tennis is a systemic movement, every action needs the cooperation of upper and lower body parts, lower limb strength as a table tennis player’s basic physical qualities, in table tennis played a very important role,the size of the lower limb strength of footwork of startup and mobile speed up to the decisive role and affect the athletes quickly adjusted to the appropriate contact point, on the ball produced great impact. Waist core area as the key of the upper and lower limbs joints, in player movement and swing chain plays a rapid transmission of power or speed, at the same time, waist core strength of athletes maintain body hit the stability,balance ability has a positive impact. Chinese literature of table tennis special physical quality training plan formulation has a detailed guidance is described, and also put forward many effective means and methods of training, made the prominent role the development of table tennis. But our theoretical studies are rarely advanced training methods and China table tennis combined understanding of some physical training methods is not comprehensive enough, may lead to athletes who have suffered injuries and poor training effect of consequences.Using literature method, experimental method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis methods, the 12 students in Shanxi Province Yangquan City sports school table tennis as the experimental object, into the experimental group and the control group,respectively using anti external resistance training method and traditional training method in table tennis lower limbs and lumbar abdomen strength experimental research.Research results show:1. After the experiment, the experimental group(anti external resistance training methods) and control group(traditional training methods) venue for ball test scores were increased, and the increases in the experimental group higher than control group,but showed no significant difference. Therefore, compared with the general physicaltraining methods, the short-term specific resistance training for the development of table tennis players in the lower limb movement of special advantages is not very obvious.2. After the experiment, the experimental group(anti external resistance training methods) and control group(traditional training methods) throwing solid ball performance were improved and the increases in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group, and showed a significant difference.Compared with the general physical training methods, the planned resistance training can effectively improve the special waist and abdomen strength of table tennis players.
