With the rapid development of computer network technology and combination of multimedia and traditional teaching,a new education model is born.It is a relatively new mode of traditional classroom,and the teaching and learning reform of it: changing the two important stages of the traditional teaching process on knowledge imparting and internalization;changing the traditional roles of teachers and students in the teaching and use of classroom time for a new planning;video self-study before class,in class students and teachers work together to solve problems and internalize knowledge;through the self study,the benign interaction between teachers and students,improving the ability of independent learning and developing themselves.Flipped classroom has been in practice to teaching in some Chinese middle school.This paper discusses the application of it in high school English teaching:how is the flipped classroom specifically implemented in high school English teaching? What are the problems and shortcomings in the concrete implementation?To answer these questions,in terms of theoretical support,through literature research,firstly,it summarizes the definition and connotation of the flipped classroom,introduces the deeper theoretical basis,combs the research status at home and abroad,and focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of it;secondly,separately from the two aspects of the design before class and in classroom,designs research process and multi evaluation system;then combined with the empirical method,case analysis method,interview method,observation method and questionnaire investigation,from the implementation level,Pingshan Middle School as an example,practice for a semester,finds that the problem for reflection,and puts forward helpful countermeasures and suggestions.;finally,the results,the questionnaire survey and interview statistical analysis are carried out.From a practical point of view,the implementation of this new type teaching mode has not a small challenge and shortcomings: higher requirements for learning conditions,cooperation of students,parents and teachers,in addition,continuing support of network technology and funds.To sum up,since the implementation in the high school English,the flipped classroom has achieved some success,but in the application process,there are still some difficulties and problems,in order to deepen the research,look forward to continuous dialogue and discussion in the future,and provide a reference for the development path of English teaching in senior high school.
