| With the development of the English curriculum reform of senior high school,a series of new requirements have been put forward for English writing teaching and students’ English writing ability of senior high school,and the daily increasing problems in English writing teaching of senior high school,such as the teachers’ neglect of writing teaching,lacking of the cultivation of students’ independent learning and the ability of exploration and cooperation.A new teaching mode and organization form,the flipped classroom,provides new ideas and inspiration for education reform.The flipped classroom pays more attention to the stimulation of students’ interests and the cultivation of students’ ability of independent learning and collaborative innovation.These characteristics all coincide with the requirements for the new English curriculum reform of senior high school.Therefore,this study attempts to explore the teaching design and implementation strategies of English writing in flipped classroom through its implementation of English teaching in senior high school and explore the feasibility of this teaching model and the acceptance of students together with the learning effects.Based on the purpose of the present study,we mainly attempt to answer the following three questions: Can the flipped classroom mode raise students’ English writing level? Is the flipped classroom teaching mode more conducive than traditional classroom in improving students’ English writing?What are the problems of flipped classroom in English writing teaching and what are the problem solving strategies? This empirical study selected 135 students from two random classes of Grade Two in Liaocheng No.2 Middle School,Shandong Province as the research objects,and carries out an empirical study on the application of flipped classroom in English writing class of senior high school.This thesis focuses on the influence on the application of flipped classroom in English writing class in senior high and senior high school students’ English writing ability and learning ability.And this thesis further discusses how to apply the flipped classroom teaching model to the English writing teaching of senior high school in our country.Through the comparison between the experimental class and the controlled class inthe aspects of writing achievement,classroom performance and after-class independent learning performance,it can be found that the flipped classroom teaching mode is more beneficial to improve students’ English writing ability and learning ability.At the same time,it also develops students’ independent learning ability and comprehensive application ability of language.This thesis not only proves the feasibility of flipped classroom in English writing teaching,but also enriches the practical experience of flipped classroom in English writing teaching in China.Moreover,it also provides references and suggestions for the application of flipped classroom teaching mode in English writing teaching of senior high school. |
