Mathematical culture plays an important role in improving the students’ interest in mathematics learning and mathematics literacy,promoting the implementation of quality education activities and social development.It is the trend of the reform and development of mathematics education and the practical need of teaching practice.Although the importance of mathematics culture and interest in the mathematics curriculum of compulsory education has repeatedly emphasized the importance of mathematics culture in mathematics education,the teaching practice of mathematics culture is especially lacking.In the related literature,the research on the influence of mathematics culture on the mathematics learning interest of primary school students is mostly qualitative research,and quantitative research is almost blank.Therefore,this study attempts to quantitatively describe the influence of mathematics culture on the mathematics learning interest of primary school students and its influence degree,and give the suggestions to stimulate or improve the interest of primary school students’ mathematics learning,and provide the theoretical basis for the future teaching practice of mathematics culture.This study mainly uses the literature analysis method,the survey method,the classroom observation method,the mixed research method and the comparative research method.First,according to the elements and dimensions of the mathematics learning interest in the existing research,the author,the experts,the teachers and the teachers and the teachers of the first-line teachers,and then,according to the opinions and the elements of the mathematics learning interest,The measurement tools in this study,through the prediction results of reliability and validity analysis,repeated changes and the formation of the final research tools;Then,the selection of the four districts andcounties in Chongqing,four different conditions of the experimental school of 620 4-6grade primary school students for the evaluation of samples,while some teachers,students interview;and use Excel2013,SPSS21.0,AOMS21.0 to deal with the survey data,analysis of mathematical culture on primary school students the impact of mathematics learning and the impact of the size,and then give the relevant recommendations.In this study,the teaching materials of mathematics culture are mainly selected from the "mathematics culture reading","mathematics culture series" and other extracurricular related materials.Therefore,this study uses the definition of mathematical culture in the "Mathematical Culture Reader",that is,mathematics culture is the sum of mathematical knowledge,mathematical spirit,mathematical thought,mathematical method,mathematical thinking,mathematical consciousness,mathematical event and so on.Through the literature research,the definition and connotation of the primary school students’ mathematics learning interest are mainly reflected in the four aspects of emotion,knowledge,value and investment.The main conclusions of this study:(1)Mathematical culture helps to improve the interest of primary school students in mathematics and has a positive effect on the indicators of learning interest.The proportion of students interested in mathematics learning is 0.4% higher than that of ordinary students.The proportion of students who are interested in mathematics is 6.5%higher than that of ordinary classes.(2)mathematical culture can help improve the ’with the level of students to reduce the interest in mathematics learning or stagnation’ this phenomenon.There was a significant negative correlation between the general level of math learning interest and the grade of mathematics students in the ordinary class,while the level of math learning interest of math students was higher than that of grade 6 and grade 4,and the mathematics of the fourth and sixth grade students was interested There was no significant difference in the level.(3)Mathematical culture can help narrow the differences in the interest of maths in different sexes.There were significant differences in boys ’and girls’ learning interests in mathematics,while boys and girls in mathematics and culture did not differ significantly in terms of math learning interest,but there were significant differences in individual indicators.(4)Mathematical culture helps to narrow the differences in mathematics learninginterest among students in different regions.There were significant differences in the mathematics learning interest among pupils in different regions,and the mean value was0.24,and there were significant differences in the indexes.There were significant differences in the mathematics learning interest among the students in different regions of mathematics and culture.The mean difference was 0.12,But only significant differences in some indicators.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems,it is suggested that:(1)to further strengthen the importance of mathematics culture,to increase the content of mathematics and culture in classroom teaching;(2)to organize teachers to learn mathematics culture,reduce teachers’ teaching burden;Practical,the combination of rigor and flexibility;(4)multi-way to carry out mathematical culture,to stimulate students curiosity and expectations.Because the quantitative research on the influence of mathematics culture on mathematics learning at home and abroad is almost blank,this research attempts to explore this aspect.However,due to the limited time ability and lack of teaching experience,there are some shortcomings in controlling the control of irrelevant variables,the distribution and quantity of samples.Hope in the future research can be made up,and do further study and in-depth study. |
