Throughout history of the curriculum and pedagogy in our country from 1979 to now we know that one sides we build a system consist of the curriculum and pedagogy subject system,the research team,the academic research norms,the discipline development and the postgraduate training;on the other sides because of the introduce of the foreign curriculum and pedagogy theory we face the problem that blindly follow of the theory we introduce from other countries.Francis.Yung.Chang did the research aim at the practice of curriculum and pedagogy in China and under the conduct of the general rule of curriculum and pedagogy contain the theory,methodology,matters and the missions,and the basic dialectic logic category,formed the the thought of Francis.Yung.Chang in the curriculum and pedagogy.The thought of Francis.Yung.Chang in the curriculum and pedagogy is an effective case of the construction of the Chinese Characteristic in the curriculum and pedagogy.In this research we try to study the thought of Francis.Yung.Chang in the curriculum and pedagogy from its thought formulation process,thought explain and characteristic analysis,to provide the recommendations to the the construction of the Chinese Characteristic in the curriculum and pedagogy.In this article we have historical and logical two research dimensions.In the historical dimension we find the thought of Francis.Yung.Chang in the curriculum and pedagogy have three processions include the period before the 1936 years,1936-1979 years,after the 1979 years.In the logical dimension,Francis.Yung.Chang learned thethe educational theory of Dewey and the Marxism education theory and affected by the country policy,education science,curriculum and pedagogy,and the individual factor of Francis.Yung.Chang.His curriculum and pedagogy thought contains the idea and goal,task and content,theoretical basis,research methods,teaching process,evaluation.We can sum up the thought of Francis.Yung.Chang in the curriculum and pedagogy have three features: teacher center,practice basis,and vision fusion.Base on the research of the formulation on Francis.Yung.Chang's curriculum and pedagogy thought,we get the suggestions like set up the aim of the Chinese Characteristic in the curriculum and pedagogy,take the practice of Chinese curriculum and pedagogy as the logical starting point,develop the research community of the Chinese Characteristic in the curriculum and pedagogy,build a research paradigm for the Chinese Characteristic in the curriculum and pedagogy,and hold the research horizon on the fusion of Chinese and Western Culture.
