Folk children's games are easy to play,fun with various types,beneficial to health,challenging and competitive,which conform to the requirements of psychological and physical development of children.They are simple and unadorned treasures in China's traditional sports culture.Nowadays,various earth-shaking changes are rapidly striking China's traditional sports culture and folk children's games are in the prominent change.Therefore,it's imperative and has a great practical and historical significance to study,protect and inherit the folk children's games.As a classical folk children's game,Chinese jump rope has an extensive representativeness for the research on the folk children's games.This paper makes a deep research on the origin,development background and changes in the content and form,valuable functions,inheritance paths and cultures and other aspects of Chinese jump rope in Yunyang County Chongqing City by utilizing the research methods such as documentary study,survey,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,aiming to clarify the development status of Chinese jump rope in Yunyang County Chongqing City,explore the concrete reality of its cultural change and put forward the feasible development proposal in hope of making humble efforts for the protection and heritage of folk children's games.In the beginning,it mainly elaborates the origin and development background of Chinese jump rope,of which the general development situation of China's folk games is teased and the game plays and rules of Chinese jump rope is introduced.On the one hand,from the time background,Chinese jump rope is spread approximately in the 1950 s with its different contents emerging at various times and playtime being flexible and random characterized by few environment,transformation of social life,encroachment of modern game culture and evolution of the public values.The natural environment has a great change caused by immigrant project of Three Gorge,urbanization,the wave of migrant work and other influences.The social life witnesses an obvious transformation caused by the implementation of national policy of family planning,the construction of modernization,the change in production method and life style,admission to school at an earlier age of children and other influences.The traditional game culture that is constantly encroached is caused by the western sports,electric equipment products,large number of novelty toys and other influences.The obvious evolution occurs in the public values towards learning attitude of children,folk children's games and other aspects.Lastly,this paper proposes that the society should establish a scientific and appropriate concept of children's games,protect the site and time of children's games and encourage the innovation and integration of folk children's games in order to protect and inherit excellent folk children's games represented by Chinese jump rope and facilitate the development of children's psychological and physical health;and schools should attach importance to the inheritance significance of folk children's games while families should share the responsibility for inheritance of folk children's games.
